As the core component of new energy vehicles, the energy, power and
performance of power batteries are directly affected by the operating
temperature. If the heat generated by the battery during charging and
discharging cannot be effectively managed, it may cause the system temperature
to exceed the optimal operating range, thus affecting the service life of the
battery. Power batteries are usually equipped with a thermal management system,
which consists of three key components: a heat transfer medium, a measurement
and control unit, and a temperature control unit. With the introduction of
highly integrated CTP and CTC power battery pack technologies, the performance
requirements for thermal conductive media have become more stringent, requiring
high structural strength and excellent thermal conductivity.

Description
Youxingsha SY-2971 is a two-component thermally conductive structural
adhesive that cures at room temperature and is suitable for automated
production. This product has good mechanical properties and reliable bonding; it
has good vibration and impact resistance; it has excellent high and low
temperature resistance and aging resistance; it is solvent-free and is friendly
to the human body and the environment. It is suitable for a wide range of
bonding and has no corrosion to the base material.

Curing Conditions
The AB component volume ratio is 1:1, the operating time is 15min, and the
curing time is 7days (based on @25±2℃, 65±10%RH conditions).

on performance
Flame
retardant: SY-2971 is flame retardant to UL-94 V-0 level,
providing a strong safety barrier for battery systems.
Aging
resistance: The excellent aging resistance of SY-2971
enables it to maintain a high level of adhesion in the double 85 accelerated
aging test.
Thermal
conductivity: The greater the thermal conductivity of the
adhesive, the better the heat dissipation effect of the lithium battery.
However, too high thermal conductivity will also lead to excessive colloid
density, which is contrary to the pursuit of lightweight new energy materials.
Generally speaking, the thermal conductivity range of the thermally conductive
structural adhesive for lithium batteries is suitable between 0.5W/m·K and
2.0W/m·K. The thermal conductivity of Youxingshark SY-2971 is 1.20W/m·K. It
should be noted that Youxingshark can adjust the thermal conductivity according
to customer needs and specific application scenarios to help new energy vehicle
